Kingdom Investors Touching Our World Golf Tournament: June 2, 2014
W. L. Gary Company helped co-sponsor Kingdom Investors 11th Annual Touching Our World Golf Tournament on June 2, 2014. Kingdom Investors is a local non-profit group of business people who help support charitable projects all over the world.
NAPE DC Golf Tournament: May 23, 2014
W. L. Gary Company helped sponsor the 2014 NAPE DC #1 Golf Tournament on Friday, May 23rd at the National Golf Club at Tantallon. NAPE, the National Association of Power Engineers, raised money for the National Association of Power Engineers Educational Foundation (NAPEEF).
MCAMW University of Maryland Student Chapter 7th Annual Golf Outing: May 21
W. L. Gary Company participated in the MCA of Metro Washington’s Student Chapter – University of Maryland 7th Annual Golf Outing on Wednesday, May 21.
Christmas in April: April 2014
Lawren Thompson, a W. L. Gary Company service plumber, participated St. Mary’s County Maryland Christmas in April. She, along with her daughter, volunteered to help fix a help, particularly the plumbing in the house.
In the Industry
W. L. Gary Team members give back to the industry. Many are involved in a number of industry associations, serving on boards, holding leadership positions, and attending meetings.
W. L. Gary Company Picnic: June 8
On Sunday, June 8, the W. L. Gary team gathered together with their families for a sunny day of food, games, and fun. It was a great way to celebrate and show our appreciation for the dedicated service of our team members as well as their families. We had a great time with water balloons again this year, check out pictures from the day!
Steamfitters Local 602 and Plumbers Local 5 Apprenticeship Graduation: June 6
On Friday, June 6, four W. L. Gary team members graduated from their apprenticeship program: Matt Ogren, Robert Lamont, and Robert Hopkins from Steamfitters Local 602 Apprenticeship program and Matthew Quade from Plumbers Local 5 Apprenticeship program. Congratulations to these gentlemen on their accomplishments!
Chesapeake Region Safety Council, 2014 Most Improved Safety Award in Construction: June 5
W. L. Gary Company, Inc. was recognized by the Chesapeake Region Safety Council for the company whose Incidence Rate improved the most, on a percentage basis, every year for three years beginning with 2011. Congratulations and thank you to our whole team, especially our safety manager, Roger Viens.
PMExpo: April 17
W. L. Gary Company participated in the Property Management Association’s PMExpo at the Washington Convention Center. It was a great opportunity to meet and network with many members of the property management industry and to introduce them to our company.
